What makes the fitness Boot Camps and On-Ramp programs at Albany CrossFit special?
They are not really boot camps at all…if you think of fitness boot camps as an instructor yelling random stuff at you in a park for a few classes until you get discouraged and give up.
Our approach is different. Very different. That's because our Boot Camp and On-Ramp programs are the first step to getting you in the best shape of your life, no matter who you are.
We are part of a worldwide movement called CrossFit that is changing the way people think about diet and fitness and health. Maybe you saw the CrossFit Games on ESPN. Maybe you've heard about CrossFit from a friend. You think CrossFit might not be for you. Wrong! CrossFit is for everyone.
We'd like to you to meet Katie Hunter. Katie is a 33-year-old mom and special education teacher who calls her experience with us “life-changing.”
Katie says: “This really got me out of my shell. I now know what I can do if I try. People now come to me for diet advice. I never thought that would happen.”
Katie lost 20 pounds during our 90-day challenge, on top of the 35 pounds she had previously lost. At 185 pounds, Hunter says she still has 20-30 pounds to lose. “I may not be there yet, but I’m getting better every day.”

On Ramp: 12 sessions over four weeks. The class meets meet Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays at 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM. A new class begins on the first Monday of each month. Cost: $199.
Personal Training: We offer six personal training sessions for just $299.
Whatever your choice, you'll find we're not like other gyms. Back to Katie. She had previously been a member at a conventional gym. She worked with a personal trainer and was in the gym almost every day, but showed little improvement. All that changed when Katie joined Albany CrossFit.
