Congrats to Michael Wood as February 2012 Member of the Month at Albany CrossFit. Woody is a long time member of Albany CrossFit, and a dedicated part of our community. Woody has been apart of our family for 2 years and has gone through his share of streaks, but he has really stepped it up since the New Year.
Since the new year Woody has hit the ground running! He jumped on the 90 Day Challenge, and signed up for the Tri-state Throwdown. His diet has been on point, with a big mention for keeping it strict during those tempting times during playoff football, and as a result losing a total 16 pounds! He completed all those all those dreaded burpees at the end of the “Filthy Fifty” for the first time. Now he’s attacking his weakness, dedicated to run a 5k once a week, just to work on his running!
His dedication to his nutrition and his overall results make him a great contender for the top spot in the 90 Day Challenge. More importantly he’s taking all the steps towards making himself the healthiest and fittest he can be. His dedication to Albany CrossFit, and commitment to his training has truly left it’s mark. Congrats Woody, you have earned this one!
